Nelsen suggests Christie may be able to distance himself from Trump. Nelsen noted that Christie has previously criticized Trump. “He can say, ‘I was never really on board with that part of Trump’s agenda.’”
Nelsen thinks Scott may try to unite the GOP. Nelsen predicted that he would endeavor to please both parties. “He’ll appeal to moderate Republicans and Trump supporters.”
Finally, Nelsen addressed Trump supporter DeSantis. Nelsen said DeSantis may separate himself from Trump on some topics while still supporting the previous president. Final judgment. Nelsen said DeSantis will try to appeal to the Trump camp while showing his own identity.
