Iranian FM Confronts Palestinian Leaders on Israeli Crimes 2023
Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’ political bureau, and Ziyad al-Nakhalah, the secretary-general of the Islamic Jihad movement, had separate conversations with the Iranian foreign minister on Friday.
Amirabdollahian denounced Israel’s “brutal aggression” in killing helpless Palestinian women and children and assassinating “targeted” resistance commanders. He claimed that in the face of Palestinian resistance, Zionists had shown weakness and frustration.
According to Haniyeh, resistance groups are “prepared” and “coordinated” to stave against Israeli assaults. He also praised Iran’s political backing of Palestine. According to Haniyeh, “Resistance will determine the outcome of this Zionist aggression, and the Israeli regime has no choice but to capitulate.”
According to Press TV, Nakhalah said that the Palestinians will keep up their fight until the authorities agreed to the terms put forward by the resistance.
The Israeli government kept up its bombing against Gaza for a fourth day. The most recent attack, which happened on Friday, left three Palestinians dead and 10 others injured.
The Gaza Ministry of Health claims 33 deaths, including six children and three women, and over 100 injuries.
For the first time since Israel’s most current attack got underway on Tuesday, Palestinian resistance organizations launched rockets at al-Quds on Friday. Also seeing a resurgence of rocket fire were Israeli villages close to the Gaza border. One person was killed and many others were injured when a Palestinian rocket targeted the Israeli city of Rehovot on Thursday.
Islamic Jihad has vowed to keep launching rockets against Israeli towns and settlements until the regime stops its hostility and its practice of assassinating Palestinian leaders.
Over 140 Palestinians have died as a consequence of Israeli aggression that has been ongoing for more than a year. International calls for a halt to Israel’s atrocities have been sparked by it.
